My name is Sandie and I'm a Brittany

Sandie I was rescued from the Orange County animal control by National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network in May of 2010. My new family saw my posting and took me in. So here I am in my forever home.

Getting to my new home was quite an ordeal. I had to sleep in the back seat for hours. And what's the first thing they do to me when we arrive home? Give me a bath! But then they let me curl up on the sofa and watch TV. I think I'm going to like it here....

For the first few days in my new home I haven't been very good, but there are so many new things to explore and smell that I'm constantly distracted. But I'm starting to settle in.

I'm getting a lot more comfortable in my new home. I'm eating and spending a lot of time outside watching birds, squirrels, and hunting lizards. I get lots of attention and go for a walk almost every day.

I'm really settling in now! I still like to spend a lot of time outside, if only I could climb trees those squirrels would be in big trouble. Sometimes I'll sit and stare at a squirrel for what seems like hours. I'm also trying to rid the yard of lizards, but there are far to many hiding places for the little [blanks].

In the evening, I like to relax with my people. I'm really digging the nice murphy bed they sometimes pull out for me!
